Tech week, tech week, tech week!

Okay, so what we've learned is that Les Mis Tech is complex! The good is that we are seeing some great moments--challenge is getting through the extreme technical work. Today should move cleaner since  complexity is much less.

• Call time is no later than 615 pm all week (HFAC is open all day, so be here in time to do your makeup and get costumed and mic'd)
• IMPORTANT: Please call or text me if you are running late (832-623-1757)--we need to know your ETA if you are late. Time is extremely important this week!
• Expect to be at HFAC until 11 every night this week!

 

When you arrive remember to do 3 things:

1) Check the bulletin area--hallway between the Garza and the Fischer (dressing room assignments will be posted there)

2) Perform your pre-show duties, including SETTING YOUR PIECES and checking props

3) Get your microphone on quickly and wait for sound checks

4) We will roll around 715

Have we said that before? Because you are. Tech week is tough, last night was tough, and you guys stayed positive--thank you! At 10pm last night, there was a group of people back stage talking about how great this cast and theatre are--that's what it's all about!

Tonight's schedule:

HFAC is open all day. Get here in plenty of time to be ready for the following:

Monday
6 Mic checks begin
7 In the house for a pre-run meeting
715 RUN (we will be making quick stops in a few scenes for 'clean up')
1025 Stop. De-mic, and de-costume
1035 House for notes
11 OUT

We will be running fully costumed and with full makeup. Please allow yourself plenty of time to be stage-ready BEFORE the 715 meeting.

ALSO: After we open, please keep Thursday nights free for possible pick-ups!

Reminder on costuming/makeup:

• Wear every costume piece assigned.
• Use your assigned makeup map (Erik for questions)
• No earrings, no rings, no necklaces, unless in your costume bag (see SM or costumer for any questions).  
• No finger nail polish, toe polish unless in shoes.
• Please wear appropriate changing clothes underneath costumes (leotards, athletic shorts/shirt): nude or black are preferred depending on your costume.
• Please wear deodorant.
• Puppeteers and All Techs please wear all black shirts (pan) and dark pants shoes (shirts should have dark lettering--not white lettering.
• Please hang up all costumes--no costumes on floor
• Clean up your areas.
