-When holding money, keep your eyes on the girl--NOT the money.
-Remember
this is a gritty dock scene and you are on the streets seeking or just off the
boat seeking--you are not nice people--this is the underbelly of society and
gambling. You would kill over money to be with a lovely lady and you cannot look
cheery--look deprived, desperate, down-trodden.
Women:
-Reach
seductively for money...slight glances at men, but more concerned about the
francs.
-Make
sure your faces and eyes are always looking up and in the scene or out to the
audience looking up at the spot on the wall. -While dancing move with more seduction, less bouncy/cheer.
-Develop/work your character and how you move on stage--your specific walk and style. Each of you have a different feel/look. Dare to be a different lovely lady.
