Rehearsal notes for May 27th and reminders!

First, reminders:

• No bare feet. Please wear the shoes that you'll be using for the show, if possible.
• Please wear appropriate rehearsal clothing.  
• Turn in your playbill bios.
• Sell tickets.
• Sell more tickets.
• Check the rehearsal schedule. It changed. Or did it??? You'll never know unless you check it.

Notes from Saturday the 24th and today, the 27th

Music- Master of the House

• Slow motion after "my band of soaks..."
• Freeze on "money"
• Unfreeze after "...as good as yours"
• Review the 2nd chorus
• No one should just be standing/sitting there--EVERYONE should be doing something at all times

Music - Prologue

• We need more space on the line. 4-5ft between convicts.
• Also, Factory workers--we won't preset--we don't want shadows to be seen (of tables, benches, etc.)

Music - Lovely Ladies

• You HAVE to snap your head and be sure to look at the guy's hand on "all it takes is money in your HAND"

Music - One Day More

• Be brighter
• It should be strong, but not choral--we want it more crisp than that
• Continue to work on your individual parts, so it's strong when it comes together

Music- Overall
In all solo lines in ALL numbers: Make it loud and prominent!!


Blocking
This evening, the 27th, we blocked "Stars" and "The Well"/"The Bargain." Individual blocking notes were given. For those of you that weren't there, the rundown is as such: Javert sings on a bridge--very powerfully--about stars, and JVJ buys Cosette from the T's. He makes it rain francs.
